Sales Representative, Corporate Training

Due to growth and expansion, our client is seeking a Sales Representative, Corporate Training, to join their NYC team. We are looking for an ambitious, motivated Sales Representative, responsible for generating revenue growth by introducing and selling corporate training products, onsite traditional, virtual classes, and on-demand courses. Candidates will receive extensive sales training and development. This is a terrific opportunity for a talented sales professional at the start of their career, looking to develop and grow their sales skills. Responsibilities:

Strong telemarketing and sales skills, with the ability to identify needs and sell corporate training products and services to new and existing clients. 

Proactively utilize resources to target sales leads, increase revenue and grow client base.

Conduct persuasive, high level telephone conversations with executives within a broad range of industries.

Call on the existing customer base to resolve any client inquiries  and/or complaints.

Create sales material to present to customers and identify additional revenue opportunities within a specific geographic territory.

Qualify, prospect, and foster new business development opportunities.

Follow up on marketing generated leads and prospects. 

Utilize CRM to maintain accurate, detailed notes, track leads, activities, and metrics productivity. Schedule follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.

Qualifications:

Well organized go-getter mentality, detail oriented, with demonstrated drive and initiative.

Achievement of quota and / or revenue goals with a passion for selling.

Comfortable on the phone, and able to overcome objections to close new clients.

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong multitasking and organizational skills, managing multiple clients with multiple sales funnel stages.

BA/BS degree a plus, not mandatory
