Programmatic Trader/Director

Our client is seeking a Programmatic Trader/Director to manage campaigns in multiple platforms.

Essential functions:

Execute programmatic campaigns from the initial briefing stage through campaign set-up, maintenance, optimizations and final reporting.

Ensure the health of your accounts, spending budgets in full, while exceeding client KPIs.

Own trades in multiple programmatic consoles with a deep understanding of campaign management and optimization strategy (bid management, tactics, data and audience analysis, etc.).

Extract and deliver insightful findings for optimization purposes and client reports.

Build and evolve relationships as the primary point of contact with media partners, day to day clients, and internal teams (Account, Audience, and Analytics).

Continually evaluate Programmatic strategies on your perspective accounts, identifying testing and account growth opportunities.

Understand client brief and objectives to make partner and platform recommendations.

Set-up and manage campaigns in DSPs; preferred experience in the Trade Desk and TubeMogul.

Work closely with the ad operations and analytics teams for all tagging and reporting requirements.

Negotiate firm but fair rates with managed service media and research partners.

Analyze verification data to improve the quality of impressions purchased.

Understand client’s website, assets and customer journey to develop creative strategy.

Proactively monitor campaign activity for delivery, ad quality, and performance.

Pull reporting and identify optimization opportunities to implement both in real-time and long term.

Requirements:

6 months – 1 year of experience in digital advertising; preferred one year specializing in programmatic trading.

Deep understanding of working in programmatic platforms (The Trade Desk and TubeMogul experience preferred).

Passion for digital marketing and programmatic advertising, as well as data, analysis and Excel.

Programmatic experience across display and mobile required, additional channels  (audio, television) a plus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.

A knack for building compelling decks in Power Point.

Organized/detail oriented.

BA/BS degree, preferably in advertising, marketing, business, economics or similar.
